Chamada para bolsistas: The Summer Program in Social Science – An International and Interdisciplinary Initiative (2015-2017)

The School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, in collaboration with the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris, and the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study, Uppsala, is organizing a Summer Program in Social  Science  starting  in  2015.  This  innovative  program  will  run  in  a  three-­?year cycle, with two weeks taking place the first year in Princeton, one week the second year in Paris, and one week the third year in Uppsala. It is designed specifically for junior  scholars  from  Africa,  the  Middle  East,  and  Latin  America.  It  is  open  to  all disciplines   in   the   social   sciences,   including   anthropology,   sociology,   history, psychology, economics, law and political science as well as neighboring disciplines, such   as   philosophy,   political   theory   and   literary   criticism.   The   purpose   is   to constitute   a   genuinely   international   and   interdisciplinary   network   of   social scientists from regions of the world traditionally not well-­?represented in the three institutions involved in the program.
 
Applications   will   be   open   on   December   1,   2014,   with   a   deadline   of January 31, 2015
